Today, I am reflecting on how thankful I am to have visited so many beautiful places.
When you look at life through the eyes of gratitude, the world becomes a magical place. Sharing some of this magic with you this morning.
BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.
I invite you to come and join me on this pilgrimage to change the world through thankfulness. Perhaps if enough of us join together we can change the negative climate that exists and is overtaking our planet. Together we can move our fellow citizens of to a better, higher and finer place.

I was fortunate to spend the last 8 days in Sicily in the company of good friends, incredible beauty and, of course, delicious food. A lot to be thankful for.
But what I want to write about today and celebrate with thankfulness is the airplane ride home where I witnessed such incredible civility by a group of people who did not even know each other.
The airplane ride home was torturous. We were on an air bus filled to capacity with travelers. We sat on the plane for four hours while the same mechanical difficulties were fixed twice. When we finally got in the air we had a 9 hour flight to Philadelphia. Upon landing in Philadelphia we sat on the tarmac an additional half hour due to further difficulties hooking up the jetway to the plane. A recipe for disaster, right? I was expecting complete anarchy and what I witnessed was a plane load of people illustrating the definition of civility: polite, reasonable, and respectful behavior.
In this political season, when it seems all civility had disappeared from the landscape of our lives, I was gifted with the knowledge that people are still innately polite and reasonable. “You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean. If a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” Mahatma Gandi “
I hope that by writing these posts that we will move together beyond thankfulness into appreciation. Because appreciation for the moments and things for which we give thanks requires us to be mindful of our lives. “Civility is not a sign of weakness.” John F. Kennedy.

This Monday find me in Sicily. A country rich in history. As I walk along in this magnificent land, I am so thankful to have had this opportunity to fill my eyes and my soul with this entrancing land.
On the sixth day,
