My thoughts have gone increasingly the past few days to my son, Andrew, who died this year. I think this lovely poem reflects what I have been feeling.

What a beautiful poem and so much more positive than how Halloween has come to be ‘celebrated’. Thinking of you, Bernadette, and Andrew. π

Bernadette, my heart goes out to you as you grapple with your big loss. If hugs helped I would send you a starship full.
Your poem is so beautiful and warmed me deep to the soul. This is how I always thought of this evening. Remembering, honouring and loving our ancestors and loved ones that gone before.
So with you and many around the globe that is what I will do.
