THOUGHTS ON THURSDAY

I sometimes think that we do not always choose our work, but are chosen, or called to it.  It has always seemed to me that I was called into the field of flowers with a special mission for them: to grow and disseminate them, where they are loved; to write about them; to talk about them, and, most of all, to create new varieties.  THEODOSIA BURR SHEPHERD

This post is dedicated to my lovely daughter in law, Hillary, whose love of flowers has opened my eyes.

About Bernadette

I live in the small town of Haddonfield, NJ. I am at an age in my life when I seem to spend time thinking and musing about life. These musings are usually stimulated by my walks through Haddonfield, my reading of books and fellow bloggers, and my interaction with my group of fabulous family and friends.

  1. so beautiful! My work in home health and hospice feels like a calling. Though I am not a direct care worker, I support those that do, and it is so rewarding to love your work. I love all the stuff I get to do in-between for sure, but work is important to love to. ❤
