POINT OF VIEW #2
The world can be
a desolate sea.
Then cloud breaks
and dark thoughts flee.
Once again I see
sunshine healing my aches.

Bernadette, it is amazing to experience a shift in mindset when a gloomy day turns on its light, and illuminates the shadows that held fear in the dimness.

It is an amazing experience. I often wonder at how mercurial humans are.

Isn’t it in the end that all that matters is small bits of happiness and goodness?

Beautiful. I am glad that this (metaphorical) poem holds truth. Some days it feels the journey is arduous and lonely…

These are some beautiful lines of verse! I admire and deeply respect anyone who can write poetry, and I especially respect anyone who can be vulnerable enough to share their poetry publicly. The last line is my favorite. Sunshine does indeed seem to chase away all my aches – the physical and the metaphysical. Wishing you buckets of sunshine!
