TIME
I alway thought there
would be time
for what I wanted to do.
There would be time
to go back and complete
the unfinished.
Einstein says that time is relative
yet every year
I have less of it.
Treasure in 2017 the
mysterious gift of time
and use it well.
“For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.”
Happy new year !

So well said Bernadette! Your theme of time makes me realise that I need to be more mindful of how I spend my time. Instead of allowing little pop-up tasks and interruptions to consume the hours, I want to focus more on the people and things that are most important to me. Thank you for inspiring me to articulate my new year’s resolution, my friend.

“Mysterious…” What an excellent adjective to describe time. When I start distressing over my limitations of time and how it’s simply impossible to do all the things that I yearn so achingly to do, I try to remind myself that there may not be enough time for everything that *I* want, but God will give me enough time for everything that *He* wants of me. The hard part is letting go of everything else, because you are absolutely right – the time just seems to slip past. I am wishing you a healthy, happy, and fulfilling 2017! May it be beautifully and wonderfully mysterious. π
