BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.
I invite you to come and join me on this pilgrimage to change the world through thankfulness. Perhaps if enough of us join together we can change the negative climate that exists and is overtaking our planet. Together we can move our fellow citizens of to a better, higher and finer place.
The other day I was in the checkout line at the grocery store. I was purchasing some Rao’s sauce and the young man wielding the laser engaged me in a conversation about how much he wanted to have dinner at Rao’s. I told him that I have also wanted to dine at Rao’s Restaurant and we both discussed how small the restaurant is and how difficult it is to get a reservation. I was really enjoying this conversation with the young man and he reminded me so much of myself at his age. Interested in the preparation of delicious food and curious about famous restaurants. I went on to tell my young friend (because we had already become buddies in this short time) about another restaurant in Atlantic City that was so exclusive that there phone number isn’t even listed. I laughed and said it was sort of like a speakeasy. You needed to get the phone number from a friend and then call and say that your friend sent you. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the number in my phone and said I would bring it with me next time. Upon saying this the man behind me in line pipes up and says “I have the phone number” and gives it to the checker along with his name and makes recommendations about what to order. I am so thankful for this chance encounter for it was a wonderful reminder of the Universe’s synchronicity.
Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world. John Milton
I hope that by writing these posts that we will move together beyond thankfulness into appreciation. Because appreciation for the moments and things for which we give thanks requires us to be mindful of our lives.
At the end of the post you will find a link up frog and I hope you will join me on this venture and once a week write a post and link up to others and share what you are thankful for this week.
Thank you for joining me today,
PLEASE ADD YOUR POST AND TOGETHER WE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD.
That was a very cool encounter! Yay for all that good juju goin’ around! 🙂

Gratitude indeed imparts reverence, healing, peace and so much we can’t account for.
