FEMINIST FRIDAY

In the spirit of fun and frivolity of Halloween, I am going to share with you some very funny excerpts from a book by Sally Swain titled Great Housewives of Art.  I hope you enjoy this tongue in cheek feminist offering.

About Bernadette

I live in the small town of Haddonfield, NJ. I am at an age in my life when I seem to spend time thinking and musing about life. These musings are usually stimulated by my walks through Haddonfield, my reading of books and fellow bloggers, and my interaction with my group of fabulous family and friends.

  1. So funny to see the paintings and some of them a bit manipulated. I have a sad one! that is Degas’s “The Absinthe Drinker”. You see how she is sitting alone degenerating because of the poisonous drink at a cafe in Paris.
I wanted to email a picture to you about Bonhoeffer. I can´t find your email unfortunately. Mine is mariaholm51@gmail.com
If you see this note and email me I can send it. I am home again for more blogging. Love Maria
