I love articles about creativity in older people. Research supports that they have it in spades! Look forward to this, Bernadette!

I don’t so much set new goals as stumble upon things I’d like to pursue. I find if I go with the flow, the universe finds something new to pique my interest and off I go, learning new skills along the way. I just need to keep an open mind and be alert to the new projects coming my way. 8 months ago I had no idea I would be writing a blog! When I started it, I thought it would just be about nutrition, but it has gradually evolved and now I am really surprising myself by publishing recipes and anecdotal posts. I have found confidence I never knew I had and keep the grey matter well and truly exercised. 😊

Lovely quote and perfect for the month of celebrations. I look forward to your posts – ageism affects older people in all areas of life – officially illegal its hold on society is unrelenting with sadly dire consequences. I remember at 28 being told by my doctor ‘at your age…’ as if that was it for me, down hill from then!

For many of us, it is only when we retire…hence older, that we have the time to set goals focused on creativity. This is a most excellent series of post you are creating Bernadette. The comments are interesting also. Like Annika Perry I had a physician tell me in my thirties that ‘at my age’ I needed to begin to slow down and not be so physically active, as well as remove any throw rugs from my home to avoid falls which was a real hazard for ‘older’ women. All my best to you. 📮
