Last week Dom and I had an opportunity to check one off the Bucket List. We visited Sedona, Arizona and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
One of the unique features of Sedona that I have always been curious to visit are the vortexes that dot the red rocks. These vortexes are centers of heightened energy.
Dom wanted to know what change he should expect in me after I communed with these centers of energy. So, I told him that he should expect that I would come back 5’6″ tall, weighing 115 lbs., and look like I did when I was in my mid 20’s.
Well, I guess the demi gods who supply the vortexes with the energy heard my cynicism and decided to keep me away.
I awoke the next morning to snow on the red rocks:
Next I ran into a raven who told me that my desires were to be had
NEVER MORE
Fortunately, Dom loves me just the way I am and sealed it with a kiss at the Grand Canyon.
Hope your wishes comes true,
Bernadette
Lovely photo of you and Dom!

Ah to be loved just the way you are. Much better than what a vortex might provide. Beautiful pictures! Looks like an amazing trip.

Love the pictures. To be loved as we are for what we are — what could be better?

I bet Dom still sees that twenty something girl he met many years ago whenever he looks at you. What fun to check off a bucket list item and in such a beautiful place!

Oh, I so want to go there. I’ve never been. Your photo with the dark skies is stunning. Those vortexes did’t care about your cynicism, The” magic” happened anyway. 😀
