CELEBRATING SMALL THINGS

MY WEEKLY THANK YOU NOTE TO GOD.
MY WEEKLY THANK YOU NOTE TO GOD.

Life got a little better this week.  Celebrating got easier.

  • Celebrating it finally rained.  We have been 18 days with heat and no rain.
  • Speaking of heat, celebrating that the rain brought coolness and a break from the humidity.
  • Celebrating our friends who invited us over on Labor Day for delicious homemade Bloody Mary’s.
  • Celebrating that there are enough Jersey tomatoes still at the farmer’s stand to whip up a batch of Bloody Mary mix with the help of another friend this weekend.
  • Celebrating getting to spend the day with my beautiful granddaughter.
  • Celebrating my office staff who hung with us when the air conditioner decided to die on a 90 degree workday.
  • Celebrating taking Writing 101 and so far so good with keeping up with the homework.

Wishing you all many Celebrations both large and small,

Bernadette

About Bernadette

I live in the small town of Haddonfield, NJ. I am at an age in my life when I seem to spend time thinking and musing about life. These musings are usually stimulated by my walks through Haddonfield, my reading of books and fellow bloggers, and my interaction with my group of fabulous family and friends.

  1. This end of summer heat is especially difficult once we return to school, isn’t it? We had some very hot, hot, humid weather here in WI which finally broke on Thursday. Thank goodness! Hope relief comes your way soon!

On a hot day it is a cool breeze we need. On a dark and cold day the sunshine brings joy. I like how you picked the small celebrations and stringed them together. Wishing you a lovely next week!

It seems that tomatoes played a large part in celebrations this week-yum! And I had fun with a granddaughter too, always special isn’t it? Have another great week ahead!
