DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO?

Do you know where you’re goin’ to?
Do you like the things that life is showin’ you
Where are you goin’ to? Do you know?

This post is written in response to a writing assignment for Writing 101.

This image spoke to me because all of life is an unknown journey and most of the time I didn’t realize it was unknown.  I thought if I looked hard enough I could find a roadmap.

As I have gotten older, I have realized on a certain level that there is no roadmap but I keep looking for directions.

Now when I look at the roadmap of my life, I realize that I have written the highways and the byways on the map and if I study them I sometimes find directions.

    Hello Bernadette. Thanks for a wonderful post. Life is like a river, it has to keep flowing. Sometimes its better to let the stream flow as the higher universe knows where we have to go and whats our purpose. Thanks again for making me think about life’s path.

    I think the roadmap for life should be the principles, good principles provided by God through his words, however, even with roadmap, people doesn’t follow that roadmap but instead go by their own way, taking a detour which may result in an accident or bumpy road or will lose its way. I hope we may all know where we are going to but most of us don’t.
