Celebrating and Cut and a Color

MY WEEKLY THANK YOU NOTE TO GOD.
MY WEEKLY THANK YOU NOTE TO GOD.

This has been a very rough week.  I have had a lot of not so good interactions with my family and have had some health issues rear their ugly heads.

I thought and thought about what I could celebrate this week.  Honestly, I thought I was not even going to bother writing a post this week.  Then Friday, I kept my appointment with my very talented hairdresser who doubles as my psychoanalyst.  First she sat me at the shampoo bowl and washed my hair.  Isn’t it wonderful to have someone wash your hair?  It makes me feel so cared for.

This isn’t me but I shared the feeling of bliss that is on this woman’s face.

My motto has always been “When you can’t change anything else in your life, change your hair”.

So we got out the hair books and chose a new style.  And even though this isn’t me again, I shared the feelings of happiness in this picture (and a somewhat similar haircut).

Wishing you all the happiness of having a wonderful hair stylist,

About Bernadette

I live in the small town of Haddonfield, NJ. I am at an age in my life when I seem to spend time thinking and musing about life. These musings are usually stimulated by my walks through Haddonfield, my reading of books and fellow bloggers, and my interaction with my group of fabulous family and friends.

When I’ve had a rough day, my hairstylist who I’ve been seeing for 20+ years gives me a head massage. Sending prayers for a better week ahead in your new hair.

My favorite part of the haircut is that shampoo. Sometimes I wonder if I could just go and have that done. I’m glad that you had a bright spot in the week, but I sure hope that the next week is better!
