Last Wednesday was a perfect day. The sky was crystal clear blue, the temperature gods were in a beneficent mood, and I was visiting NYC with my husband and our dear friends of over 30 years. The cherry on the top of this ice cream sunday of a day was we had tickets to see An American in Paris on Broadway.
I do love a Gershwin tune and had been looking forward to seeing this show for months. And the show did not disappoint. I am not going to describe it to you because it would be like trying to pick out the most delicious piece of chocolate candy from a perfect box of chocolates.
The ballet portion performed to the Rhapsody in Blue was perfectly executed and I was so surprised and pleased that the choreographer had given a nod to Bob Fosse –
If you get a chance go see the show, you will come out with a smile on your face and “Fidgety Feet”.

You are lucky to live close to an area with great theater. So inspiring.
